Parkinson's Disease

The Parkinson's Disease Society (PDS) exists with a mission which is the conquest of Parkinson's disease and the alleviation of the suffering and distress it causes, through effective research, education, welfare and communication.

The Church Stretton support group was formed to assist the PDS in that mission and to support locally those suffering from Parkinson's disease and their carers by providing help, companionship and other assistance where necessary.

The group meet on the fourth Monday each month at the Mayfair centre at 2:30 pm. The meeting usually takes the format of an interesting talk on various subjects followed by a cup of tea. Anyone welcome.
