What experience do I need to join a class?

Apart from the advanced art class held on Friday afternoons, no experience is necessary to join any of our classes.

Who are the classes aimed at?

You are welcome whatever your age but SCAT-funded classes are for people of 16 years upwards.

Who teaches the classes?

Some of our tutors are volunteers, some are funded by SCAT. There is an equality of service.

I'm concerned that I may not be able to keep up with the rest of the class

Classes are of mixed ability and everyone learns/works at their own pace. As well as learning or maintaining a skill you'll find convivial company.

Where are the classes held in the Centre?

Most classes take place in our new art room on the first floor of the building. A lift is available for those who may find the stairs difficult.
