Mayfair’s Day Opportunities for adults with learning disabilities in Church Stretton and Bishops Castle

44bs Day Opportunities

Mayfair’s 44bs service provides day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities within the Church Stretton and Bishop’s Castle communities (as required). The service is designed to promote independence and wellbeing through activities and interactions. Activities might include arts and crafts, shop and cook, walking for health, exercise classes or gym sessions, library visits, work placements, IT sessions and socialising. We promote wellbeing, good hygiene and healthy lifestyles through all we offer. Some activities will be 1 to 1 or in small groups, others in larger groups, depending on the activity or the needs of the individual.

We facilitate a friendly and sociable environment which allows individuals to develop skills and grow in confidence. The group enjoys interactions with the whole of Mayfair and the wider community and they benefit equally from stimulating activities and the opportunity to socialise with their peers and contribute to their local community.
