Calling all Cats & Bats, Ghosts & Pumpkins. We would love to invite you to our Halloween family concert on Thursday 29th October at 2pm in the United Reform Church for an afternoon of spooky music performed by three local musicians; Gill Styles on piano and Jane Swanson & Andrea Chapman on violas.
You will hear music from the Disney film ‘Fantasia’, ‘Harry Potter’ and musicals such as ‘Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘Wicked’. This family concert is particularly suited to children of primary school age, but everyone is welcome! We would love all children to bring a musical instrument; this could be an instrument that you already play, or something you have made at home (such as a Pringle tube
with dried rice in) as there will be lots of opportunities for joining in! We would also love you to wear your Halloween themed costumes!
Tickets are £5 per child booked in advance and £6 on the door. Adults are free! All children must be accompanied by an adult. When booking, please let us know what instrument your child will be bringing, and what standard they are (if applicable). Tickets can be preordered at: [email protected]
All proceeds from this concert will go to the Mayfair Centre.
If you need extra support with Child Care this autumn, Mayfair Créche is available for short-term child care provision of 2 hours (4 hours if parent on site) at very competitive rates. Contact us on 01694 722077 and ask to for Sarah or Julie to discuss possibilities.
